So how does it all work?

  • By simply registering your details and the date of your wedding with Skytrak Travel
    We will send details to you to provide your guests with which they can then log on to the Wedding List Service and contribute online, it could not be easier.
    Alternatively they can call the Wedding List Service team and make their gift over the telephone.

  • Guests may purchase Skytrak Travel Gift Vouchers in denominations of £10, £25 and £100.
    The minimum gift contribution is £25.
    We will record the value of their gift and any accompanying messages.
    The vouchers are valid indefinitely and may be used for flights, hotels, tours, car hire, travel insurance, immunisations, travel goods, maps and travel books available through Skytrak Travel. You decide whether you wish to use the Gift Vouchers towards your honeymoon or whether you would prefer to save them for future travel.

  • If you decide to use your Wedding List as payment towards your honeymoon please bear in mind that final payment for your travel arrangements is normally due eight weeks before departure.
    This will therefore require you to pay for your honeymoon in full.
    Once your Wedding List is closed (we recommend that this is one week after your wedding) we will then credit you with the value of the Skytrak Travel Gift Vouchers purchased.

  • A full list of contributors and their accompanying messages will be forwarded to you on your return from honeymoon.

    The wedding ceremony is booked and the reception venue selected, you have a team of professionals from florists to photographers on hand to help your special day go smoothly and with a little help from Skytrak Travel you can have a dream honeymoon to remember.

  • 1. BOOK EARLY
      Remember to book early to avoid availability issues. After all the excitement of the ‘Big Day’ you certainly won’t want to be rushing off anywhere at the crack of dawn so if you get married on a Saturday, try and book a Sunday afternoon or evening flight. You might even want to consider a Monday departure in order to avoid the early alarm call!
  • 2. TAKE IT EASY
      Don’t underestimate physical and emotional exhaustion resulting from a hectic lead-up to the wedding and the excitement of the day itself. Make sure you factor in lots of relaxation time and don’t bite off more than you can chew by planning a jam-packed itinerary.
  • 3. THE NAME OF THE GAME
      Think about whether you are going to change your passport to your married name before your honeymoon. Many brides choose to travel in their maiden name and change their passport on their return, it’s one less thing to sort out before the wedding. Whatever you decide, when you book remember to give us the name you intend to travel under since name changes are very hard to implement once your seats are reserved.
  • 4. STOPOVERS
      If you are travelling longhaul, consider breaking your journey midway for a couple of nights allowing you to recharge the batteries and arrive rested at your final destination. Remember that selecting a stopover may give you access to a wider choice of flights departing from the UK and therefore allow you to get away on the day you prefer. It’s also a great opportunity to treat yourselves to somewhere really special for the first night or two of your honeymoon.
  • 5. THINK AHEAD
      Pre-book as much as possible so you don’t have to worry when you are away. For example, enquire about meal plans at hotels where you have long stays and ask about vehicle hire if you are keen to do some exploring.
