The Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve provides a spectacular setting for this riverside lodge – part of the Francis Ford Coppola collection of luxury resorts – which offers an eco-friendly escape into nature. Go hiking through the forest, spot exotic birds, enjoy a yoga class, make good use of the lodge’s bikes and river tubes and go swimming in a waterfall pool. A host of excursions can also be arranged, from horse riding to exploring nearby Mayan ruins.
