D-Resort Gocek

Set in a marina resort, the D-Resort Göcek is a contemporary and informal retreat, close to local life, yet with a wonderful feeling of seclusion, especially when you’re down on the private man-made beach (which can be reached on foot, by bicycle or on a golf cart). Relax by the pool, visit the chic spa and just let time drift away. You’ll be within walking distance of the centre of the trendy yet low-key town of Göcek, a favourite stop with sailors and the set-off point for a number of traditional gulet cruises. Here you will find a selection of shops, cafés and restaurants and a number of lively marinas. Back at the hotel there’s the chic D-SPA which, as well as the standard treatments, features a traditional Turkish hamman and a tranquil zen garden with Jacuzzi and sun loungers.

For dining with beautiful views, head down to The Breeze restaurant that’s set right on the oceanfront and serves a delightful collection of fresh seafood specialities. There’s also the relaxed Olive Tree restaurant for fantastic buffet fare in an elegant and welcoming setting – this is where all your included meals will be served. At the clifftop restaurant, Q Lounge, exquisite Japanese fare is complemented by the far-reaching views over the bay. Four bars are set throughout the property to ensure you’ll never be thirsty, whether you’re down on the beach or by the pool.

All of the rooms and suites are chic and comfortable, decorated in light and bright colours and seaside-inspired tones. Standard Penthouse Rooms have two rooftop windows in a high sloped ceiling with blackout blinds as well a small terrace. Standard Rooms are larger, though they don’t have a terrace. If you’re looking for extra space and a terrace, there’s the Superior Rooms, or the even more spacious Deluxe Rooms. The Deluxe Rooms Poolside offer direct access to the pool while the Junior Suites are slightly larger with a living area.
