For dining, the new open-air Beach House is located in a scenic private cove and plays breezy chill-out tunes against a backdrop of the waves. Food here is seasonal and locally grown and cocktails are inspired by the sun-drenched coastline and flora of Crete. Pangea is the main buffet-style restaurant. The atmospheric Taverna is great for Greek and à la carte dishes with a view, and for poolside fine dining, the Ocean Restaurant is headed up by a creative chef who takes great pride in showcasing her Mediterranean dishes. Once dinner is over, head to the bar where there are DJ nights and other live events. Crystal Box is a more sophisticated venue for a nightcap. It overlooks Daios’ private cove and has a wonderful menu of culinary-inspired cocktails, including the signature ‘Daios Cove’ cocktail concocted by an award-winning bartender. And with the dine-around Half Board option, guests can enjoy meals at the main buffet-style restaurant, or take advantage of set credit at the three à la carte restaurants.

There are a wide range of rooms, suites and villas. Deluxe Sea View Rooms with Individual Pool have a pool on the balcony. Suites either have a living area or separate living room. For a luxurious family escape, the two-storey Two Bedroom Family Villa has two en suite bathrooms and a private pool and is set up perfectly for those with young children, meaning you can travel light.
