While the private beach and calm sea may keep your attention for the majority of your stay here, the rooms and suites provide a tranquil space to spend some of your time. The décor is calming and subtle with a palette that doesn’t stray too far from the white and natural shades. The Emerald Retreats and Suites are set within three two-storey buildings and you can opt for a room that overlooks the gardens or the sea. For an extra-special stay, there’s the spacious Pavilion Retreats and Suites, some of which have their own private Jacuzzi, pool or even both. Haute Living Selection accommodation have a handful of added benefits such as access to the Haute Living Room where all-day refreshments are served, and an exclusive swimming pool.

Days at Domes Miramare can range from staying put on your spot on the 600-metre long beach, stepping into the sea every now and again to cool off, to island explorations. The concierge team are on hand to arrange your adventures which could include a meal amid the vines of a hillside winery, a tour of an olive grove and mill, a mixology lesson or a trip out on the resort’s own speedboat, The Miramaretta.
