This delightful fortified mansion is a unique hotel and popular with hikers. It’s in a relaxing setting at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains in the picturesque village of Puerto Soller. The décor is superb and the hotel has retained many of the building’s original features including exposed stone walls, wooden beams and a chapel. The lounge areas are scattered with antiques and in the library you’ll even find armour, shields and crossbows hanging on the wall.

A large pool is tucked away in the gorgeous gardens, with a number of secluded spots under the shade of thousand-year-old orange trees and ancient olive trees. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet under a canopy of vines on the terrace and a ‘show-cooking’ experience in the fantastic restaurant which serves authentic local cuisine and delicious Mallorcan wines. The charming bar is a former olive press and in the evening the candlelit garden is an enchanting spot to go for drinks.
