This fresh and modern resort is minimalistic in style and features a spa, watersports centre and kids’ club. For relaxing breaks, there are lovely shaded spots with hammocks, or sun loungers by the four pools. A stone’s throw from the beach, there are exclusive areas where you can indulge with a spa treatment. These range from small rustic cabins to massage gazebos right on the sand.

As you would expect from an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, there are plenty of options when it comes to drinking and dining. Alongside the main buffet restaurant El Coral, there are four other restaurants, all of which are à la carte, there’s also a beach restaurant and snack bar. The resort’s various bars are dotted throughout the grounds, including in the lobby, by the pool and close to the beach – you certainly won’t have to move too far for a refreshing juice or Cuban cocktail.

The rooms and suites are set in five buildings which are split between two different sections – the Hotel and Star Prestige areas. While the Hotel section welcomes guests of all ages, the Star Prestige section is solely for those over 18 years old, making it an excellent choice for couples or groups looking for a more exclusive experience. The Standard Rooms, which are located in the Hotel section, and the Star Prestige Standard Rooms overlook the resort’s grounds while Standard Sea View and Star Prestige Standard Sea View Rooms have views of the Caribbean Sea from the terrace or balcony.
