A small and friendly all-inclusive hotel on the south coast.
Originally built as a rum store for the British military in 1804, this intimate hotel is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. And with beautiful beaches nearby, as well as shops, restaurants and night life all within easy reach, it’s a great base for exploring the island or enjoying lazy beach days. Due to the hotel’s size, the staff get to know you by name and are happy to mix up your favourite drink or suggest fun excursions. Cool off in the small pool and see if you can spot monkeys and hummingbirds in the pretty gardens. It’s just a short stroll from Pebble Beach which, despite its name, has pristine white sands and is popular with locals and visitors alike. Rent sun loungers and parasols or take a dip in the calm waters – a morning swim before breakfast is a refreshing way to start your day.

At the Boardwalk Restaurant you can enjoy local and international cuisine with a combination of buffets and table d’hôte menus. If you want to get out and explore or spend the day at the beach then you can arrange to take a picnic lunch – just place your order the day before. At night the restaurant is beautifully lit up with fairy lights and there are twice-weekly buffet nights. The bar and the main courtyard provide a quiet setting for low key evenings with occasional live music or you can jump in a cab to discover the lively bars at nearby St Lawrence Gap.

The simple and cosy rooms have a retro style and are set on the ground floor with views of the garden, courtyard or pool. There’s no Wi-Fi but you can get your digital fix in the lobby or at the bar. The Standard Garden/Courtyard Rooms are located in the original building while the Superior Garden View Rooms are either set in the original building or in the southern block. Upgrade to a Superior Poolside Room to be able to access the pool directly from your terrace or a Junior Suite for extra space.
