Description

This Grecian village-esque escape offers plenty of facilities and a private beach
Immerse yourself into a luxurious Grecian way of life amid white-washed buildings and meandering streams. Set by the turquoise Aegean Sea, the 60-acre Lindian Village has all the features you’d expect of an upscale resort – an enormous pool, a private beach and an oh-so-tempting spa. While just 20 minutes from the restaurants and bars of Lindos, Lindian Village captures the laid-back feel of a small village, offering traditional elegance – there’s even a tiny Greek chapel in the middle of the resort.

There’s plenty of variety with five different restaurants to choose from. The main restaurant, Almante’s, serves American buffet-style breakfasts and internationally themed dinners, or if it’s an authentic taste of Greece you’re after, head to the blue-painted Basil Restaurant. Astroscopus is the perfect spot for a romantic al fresco seafood dinner or you can soak up the vibrant atmosphere at the à la carte Thai restaurant, Mr Danton. And if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a casual lunch, there’s the resort’s poolside restaurant, Kohilo. As day turns to night, the café bar, La Piazza, is animated with live music, transforming into a space for socialising and enjoying a drink or two. Perhaps surprisingly for a resort of this size, the clever design means that it rarely feels busy – ideal if the only thing on your agenda is relaxation. There are plenty of options to suit your mood; you can take up wakeboarding or canoeing at the watersports centre (at extra cost) or visit the spa and choose from three menus of treatments dedicated to Asian, ancient Greek and classic western methods.

Mediterraneo rooms are at the heart of the resort in the main village. Styled with vivid green accents, you can choose between Mediterraneo Eco and Classic Double Rooms, or Mediterraneo Family Rooms which have a second bedroom. For extra privacy, opt for one of the grand suites. Junior Suites include generous outdoor space and a private Jacuzzi while Pool Suites have their own pool within their private gardens, and both come with a choice between calming tones in River Passage Suites or minimalist Oriental décor in Ottoman Gardens Suites.
