Ocean Point Resort & Spa sits right on Antigua’s northern coastline, only a short drive from the island’s largest city, Saint John’s. Once home to a strategic naval fort, the historic port capital is known for the striking white baroque towers of its cathedral, and this hotel is just as aesthetically pleasing. Sports-enthusiasts will love the pristine white sands of nearby Jabberwock Beach – home to Kitesurf Antigua – and Dickenson’s Bay (only 10 minutes’ drive from Ocean Point). And don’t miss a visit to the eccentrically-named Prickly Pear Island; a five-minute boat trip from Hodges Bay, this tiny islet’s exquisite clear waters make it a haven for swimming and snorkelling.
