Description

An eco-friendly hideaway with magnificent coastal views
With spectacular far-reaching views from its tranquil hillside location high above the Pacific coastline, Parador Resort & Spa is dedicated to environmental sustainability. Beautiful landscaped grounds are home to three ocean view swimming pools and a lovely spa – perfect for lazy days spent doing very little other than soaking up the natural beauty and serenity. Manuel Antonio National Park is just a five-minute drive away but with 12 acres of rainforest on your doorstep there’s no need to leave the resort to spot incredible wildlife. Follow winding nature trails through the tropical grounds for the chance to encounter a number of species such as monkeys, sloths, anteaters, armadillos, toucans and iguanas. The hike ends on a cliff-side path which has a dramatic view and, if you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of migrating whales or dolphins playing in the surf. For a spot of beach life, a free shuttle runs to the stunning beaches of Manuel Antonio where you can rent kayaks and snorkelling gear for some coastal exploration.

Enjoy local and Mediterranean-inspired dishes accompanied by live music at the exquisite La Galeria which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The international à la carte menu complements the casual and relaxed atmosphere at El Quijote, while during high season the catch-of-the-day is transformed into mouth-watering sushi at Sushi Fune which has uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean. For the ultimate intimate and romantic experience and a choice from all the resort’s menus, dine in the medieval-inspired La Reina Private Dining Room and enjoy personal service in the flickering candlelight.

A choice of bars includes the swim-up El Galeon Pool Bar and Terrace Restaurant; the Sancho Panza Bar with a pool table and big-screen television; the Don Juan Bar for pre and post dinner drinks; and La Fragata Restaurant and Tapas bar which serves healthy and light dishes and refreshing cocktails.

The comfortable rooms and suites are scattered throughout the resort with views of the ocean, forest or gardens. Premium Rooms have a spacious balcony and stunning jungle and ocean views. Premium Plus Rooms are located on the top floor of the Premium building and offer beautiful sea views.
