What a hidden gem this island is! Being so close to the Equator it has a tropical climate and offers year-round activities such as swimming, snorkelling and diving. There is even the opportunity to see the rare dugong as well as many sea turtles and dolphins. Since 1993 Con Dao has been recognised as a National Park with over 1300 species of sea animals being identified here and is working closely with the World Wildlife Fund to protect the marine areas.
