For a unique insight into life during the Vietnam war see the bomb shelter, only discovered in 2011, located in the hotel’s gardens. The bunker was used to protect guests, which included Jane Fonda and Joan Baez, from war-time air raids. Exhibits located in the Metropole Wing highlight the hotel’s illustrious history which spans over 100 years. Complimentary tours are offered to guests of the hotel (reservations are required).
