Evening cookery classes will teach you the tricks needed to recreate these flavours at home. Allow the tranquillity of this mystical land to infuse you in the yoga and meditation centre, or try a traditional Ayurvedic spa treatment. Guests can also relax in the lovely swimming pool, on the badminton court or with billiards at the Woodhouse Bar.

We particularly love the hotel’s eco practices. They use solar energy, produce their own drinking water, grow most of their own food on site and source the rest locally, and they completely avoid single-use plastic – something they’ve done for years.
