Set around a sizable freeform pool and surrounded by the verdant jungle, The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana is one of our favourite family-friendly spots in the Caribbean. It’s a resort within a resort with three restaurants and a bar that are exclusively for you and your fellow Reserve guests. The Kids’ Zone is conveniently located nearby while the main resort and the private Reserve beach with its day beds and shaded Bali beds, are a relatively short walk away; alternatively, you can take the resort’s regular transfer service.

The accommodation is both spacious and modern in style. Each features a bedroom and separate living room and a hydro-massage tub in the bathroom. If you’re travelling with fellow adults, a Reserve Paradisus Suite or One Bedroom Master Suite are both a great choice; however, the best option if you are travelling with children is a Family Concierge One Bedroom Suite or the Family Concierge One Bedroom Master Suite. Your kids will be given a beach kit which includes a hat, tee shirt and rubber ring, and the daily turn down service includes milk and cookies. You can request a PlayStation to be placed in your suite and there are even child-sized bathrobes and slippers as well as kids’ toiletries. Everything has been thought of.

This Paradisus property is a great choice if you’re seeking a resort with plenty of activities and facilities, alongside a beautiful beach and gardens where you can find a quiet spot of your own to relax. With unlimited green fees at the nearby Cocotal Golf Course, a tranquil YHI spa that’s set in the tropical gardens, and a comprehensive watersports program, you have all the essentials for a perfect Caribbean holiday. As would be expected from a Paradisus resort, there are a wide variety of dining venues serving cuisine from around the world and both casual and formal atmospheres. The restaurants and bars are set througout the grounds with some close to the beach and pool and others in the main building to the rear of the resort.

The resort is set across two distinct sections – the main resort, where you will also find the the adults-only Royal Service suites, and The Reserve, a secluded and exclusive retreat that is surrounded by the jungle.
