Description

A unique and romantic hideaway in a spectacular hillside and beach setting near the Pitons.
Tucked away between rainforest and silver sands, this enchanting resort offers a blissful escape from the intrusions of everyday life and is perfect for a peaceful or active outdoor holiday. Awaken to birdsong and the breeze rustling in the trees and drift off to a chorus of crickets and tree frogs. Explore miles of hiking trails that wind through the Anse Mamin Valley and have your binoculars at the ready to spot colourful birdlife, including four out of five of the island’s endemic species. Follow the 100 steps down to the beach – or hop on the shuttle – and laze under the shade of a palapa, sway in a hammock beneath coconut palms and enjoy the resort’s legendary hospitality. Keen divers should book an expedition to the island’s award-winning marine reserve where you can discover over 150 species of fish.

Choose from four restaurants and dine in the hillside or by the beach. Gaze over the ocean from the open-air Treehouse Restaurant which offers tropical cuisine or indulge in guilt-free dining at Emerald’s which serves organic vegan dishes. Casual lunch options include a beach bar and a beachside restaurant. Sleep off your meal at the Beach House on the north corner of Anse Chastanet Beach – it’s light and airy with French doors and windows, and a lovely spot to take in views over the sparkling Caribbean Sea and watch the sunset from the oceanfront garden’s brick deck.

The colorful and uniquely designed rooms offer a peaceful sanctuary without the noise of telephones or televisions. Local products have been used extensively, from hand-made woods for the elegant furniture, to colourful cloth fabrics for the bedspreads and cushions. Standard Garden View Rooms are set on either the hillside or at beach level with garden views. Superior Hillside Rooms are octagonal cottages with sea or Piton views. Spacious Deluxe Beachside Rooms are closest to the beach. Premium Hillside Rooms are set high in the hills and some have a fourth wall missing for uninterrupted views of the Pitons. The secluded Piton Pool Suites are available on request, with views over the famous peaks plus a private pool with deck.
