Located in Southeast Asia, encompassing a peninsula on the Asian mainland and the northern island of Borneo, Malaysia offers a wealth of unique sights and experiences. From the glittering skyscrapers of its capital to island rainforests with exotic wildlife and idyllic beach islets, a luxury holiday to Malaysia offers something for everyone.

Malaysia has a tropical climate with temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year. The warm, occasional rain showers intersperse the sunny weather, which maintains the vibrant greenery of this country and rejuvenate the land. There's a slight difference in weather between Malaysia’s east and west coast, with the west experiencing more rainfall from April to October, which is a dry time for the east and the east experiencing more rain between November and February, a drier season for the west. Storms are spectacular and quickly pass leaving clear skies.

As with any holiday, it's a good idea to carry some identification with you at all times. British nationals don't need a visa to enter Malaysia and can stay up to three months.

With a diverse mix of cultures, Malaysian cuisine is as varied and sumptuous as the landscape. At your luxury hotel, you can dine at award-winning restaurants serving the most exquisite traditional Malaysian cuisine. Sample Thai offerings, Cantonese specialities, teppanyaki grills and expertly prepared sushi. Dinner comes with breathtaking views. Enjoy fresh seafood and the catch of the day with a candlelit dinner on the beach. Try rooftop dining with perfectly paired wines and gaze across mountains or the city skyline.
