Description

Offering a great location with excellent facilities and picture-perfect views over the island of Moorea.
Conveniently set on the west coast of Tahiti – just a stone’s throw from the airport, this expansive resort is an ideal stopover on the way to Bora Bora or before embarking on a cruise. It is also just a 10-minute drive from the bustling centre of Papeete where museums, shops, galleries, markets and nightclubs await so you have the chance to experience the laid-back luxury of Tahiti along with plenty of activities and facilities.

Take a stroll in the landscaped gardens, admire breathtaking views of Moorea Island, and cool off in one of the two pools – one features a sand bottom and a swim-up bar. Head to the small beach to enjoy an array of watersports including snorkelling, kayaking and waterskiing or unwind with a traditional massage at the Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm. If you want to venture further out to sea, you can join whale and dolphin-watching excursions.

Immerse yourself in Polynesian culture during the regular demonstrations that take place, such as handicrafts, basket weaving and shell and flower necklace making. You can also browse for souvenirs, such as colourful printed pareos (sarongs) at the daily craft market by the main pool.

Dining is a real experience here and reservations are recommended. At the Tahitian-style main restaurant, Te Tiare you can enjoy breakfast overlooking the pool, choose your own ingredients for a stir-fry dish at lunch, and enjoy dinner shows twice a week. The gourmet restaurant, Le Lotus offers an exquisite menu of Polynesian, French and international fare complemented by fine French wines.

The rooms and bungalows feature traditional wood furnishings and offer a variety of views. If you’re after a simple base for enjoying the hotel’s great facilities and location, Standard Rooms are ideal — upgrade for garden or lagoon views, or opt for one of the newly renovated Superior Rooms. Honeymooners will love the spacious Panoramic Gardenview Rooms or the newly renovated Overwater Motu Bungalows which have a secluded setting over the lagoon.
