Occupying 14 pristine acres in a quiet corner just a short distance from the entrance to the beautiful Kanha National Park, the charming Chitvan Jungle Lodge blends beautifully into the surrounding grasslands, hills and woods. Guests can enjoy roaming the expansive park with the lodge’s expert trackers, seeking exotic wildlife including the magnificent Bengal tigers, before returning to a luxury suite, where comfort and personalised service are the primary focus.

An intimate retreat of tranquillity, the suites have all been designed to blend gracefully into the wild and rustic jungle surroundings. Named after the five elements of nature, the suites feature earthy colour schemes and handcrafted furniture, and a generous open façade that overlooks idyllic views of the surrounding jungle, farms and the Maikal Hills. The suites also enjoy a separate living area and private sit-out, as well as a lavish rain shower or open-air shower, depending on the suite’s location.

Dining at the lodge is a nutritionally rich experience, with dishes created from home-grown ingredients, freshly picked from the lodge’s very own organic farms. Though there is only one multi-cuisine restaurant at the lodge, there are a number of different venues available for you to dine at – we particularly love the private poolside setting, and the charming interior of the rustic dining room.
