Ongava Tented Camp lies tucked into a valley at the foot of a hill in the Ongava Game Reserve. The reserve borders Etosha National Park which can be explored on either a half or full-day game drive, taking you to the saltpan and perennial springs. Morning and afternoon drives across the 30,000-hectare reserve reveal a diverse range of wildlife including good lion and rhino population; Ongava is one of the few private game reserves in southern Africa where both black and white rhino can be spotted. The main area of the camp is built of stone, canvas and thatch and overlooks a waterhole where wildlife frequently gather to take a drink. Eight Meru-style tents are featured and each includes en-suite facilities, open-air showers and private verandas.
