Little Ongava is situated in the Ongava Game Reserve on the southern boundary of Etosha National Park, perched on a rocky outcrop with panoramic vistas of the African savannah. Housing only three suites, the lodge offers an intimate and exclusive experience. Each suite features a lounge and dining area overlooking the waterhole below, as well as a private deck with luxurious plunge pool. Dining can be enjoyed as a social occasion or romantic private meals can be arranged. At the lodge you will share a dedicated guide and vehicle, taking part in morning and afternoon game drives to discover the vast range of wildlife. Featuring one of the largest rhino custodianships in the country, Ongava is only of the few private game reserves in southern Africa where both black and white rhino can be spotted. Nature walks provide an alternative to game drives, whilst further out the Etosha National Park awaits exploration.

Game drives

Guided morning and afternoon/evening drives are carried out on the private 30,000-hectare Ongava Game Reserve, with a diverse range of wildlife including good lion and rhino populations. Private vehicles can be booked at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Rhino tracking

Ongava features one of the largest rhino custodianships in the country and is one of the few private game reserves in southern Africa where both black and white rhino can be spotted.

Nature walks

A professional guide will take you through the area in search of wildlife.

Etosha National Park excursions

Both full or half-day guided morning and afternoon game drives are available in Etosha – Namibia’s prime savannah wilderness area. You will be able to see the large saltpan as well as the perennial springs which provide the water for the park’s high-density game population.
